The standard requirements of the external dimensions of the rotary tiller blade have a great effect and influence on the rotary cultivator, including various quality parameters such as material, length, width, thickness, radius of gyration, hardness, bending angle, and projection. Only the rotary tiller which are farming, i.e., friction with the land with suitable size and the reasonable hardness can be cut into the ground at a suitable angle, to maintain the high efficiency and wear resistance of the rotary tiller blade, and achieve a high efficiency and high wear resistance performance. If the size of the rotary tiller blade itself is unqualified, it will cause the blade to enter the soil at a unreasonable angle, which will seriously reduce the farming efficiency, and also greatly increase the oil consumption of the rotary tiller; if the hardness of the blade is not appropriate, the high hardness will cause the blade to be broken, otherwise, the blade will be easily deformed. Therefore, quality is a fundamental element.
The arrangement and installation before the rotary tillage operation are important tasks. Improper installation will seriously affect the quality of work. The unbalanced rotation of the rotary tiller blades will cause damage to the mechanical parts and increase the vibration of the unit, which is unsafe. Left-bend and right-bend blades should be staggered as much as possible to balance the forces on the bearings at both ends of the cutter shaft. For the blades that are successively inserted into the soil, the larger the axial distance on the cutter shaft, the better, so as to avoid clogging. During the revolution of the cutter shaft, one knife must be inserted into the soil at the same phase angle to ensure the stability of the work and the uniform load of the cutter shaft. Supported with more than two blades, the amount of soil moving should be equal to ensure the good soil crushing quality and the level and smooth bottom of the ditch after ploughing.
Finally, the compatibility with the type of rotary tiller and the working speed of the rotary tiller are also very important. Among them, the knife seat type and knife disc type rotary tillers are mostly used to loosen and level the soil off before sowing. If they are used with hand-drag leveling machine, the 3 or 4 gears shall be chosen for hand-drag speed. The 1 or 2 gears are generally chosen for Straw manuring field, In actual production, the first gear is often used.
